In a grocery store located in Kadikoy, Turkey, a cat named ‘NOKTA’ has become a social media sensation as a ‘beggar cat’.
This clever stray often waits for sympathetic shoppers and starts meowing piteously when they approach to beg for food. Sometimes, she even pretends to faint or limp to persuade customers to buy her food.
And, of course, no one who sees her can resist her adorable pleas, especially in a country like Turkey that loves cats.
According to the store’s manager, NOKTA actually eats up to 10 meals a day thanks to her acting skills and the generosity of customers.
