It’s quite hard to resist the kitty fluff and this chipmunk knows it. The brave tiny creature discovered a furry kitten sunbathing in the backyard of a Reddit user named _GoldGuy_ and took an absolute leap of faith by approaching the feline. The brazen cat neither fought nor resisted.
“My cat made friends with a chipmunk,” reads the title of _GoldGuy_’s photo series documents the unbearably cute encounter.
At first, the chipmunk looked understandably scared and intimidated, so the cat lay down to show that it meant no harm to it and the wee rodent soon approached it. The chipmunk seemed to understand that the kitty wanted to be friends, too, so it climbed on its back and happily shuffled in the fluff, and a brand new cuddly friendship was born.

A European Lynx had a cat friend who visited him every day at Leningrad Zoo (St Petersburg), the oldest zoo in Russia. From the first day they met, the calico cat bonded with the Lynx. Since then, they have been inseparable. Now they are living together at the Zoo.
According to locals, the calico was homeless and accidentally found food in the lynx’s enclosure. The Lynx did not reject her, rather she became his best friend. It seems the cat needs the lynx as much as she needs her. The zoo adopted the cat so that she and her lynx friend could live together.
A homeless cat befriended a lynx at the St. Petersburg Zoo and they are now inseparable.
