One such tale is about a police officer who defied all odds and scaled a dangerous height to save a cat from a motorway bridge.

They say cats have 9 lives because they can overcome all odds and survive even the most hazardous situations.

One incident, in which a cat was saved “against all odds” after getting stranded on a ledge above a busy freeway, serves as proof of this.

Animal Care Officer Tutak and Animal Care Sergeant Flores responded to a complaint about a cat stranded on an interstate bridge with no way out, according to a Facebook post from the City of San Antonio Animal Care Services.

When they arrived, they discovered the “stunt devil” cat resting on the overpass edge. The cat was in a perilous position, so they had to be careful not to startle him.

According to reports, the cat first did not trust the officers but after realizing their intentions, he warmed to them and allowed them to pick him up.

The cat—now known as “Bridges”—was brought to the animal emergency room.

After being checked out and cleared for medical concerns, he was transported back to Animal Care Services for “further love and care.”

“He is now resting up and feeling more himself in our adoptable cat building.” ACS wrote.

According to the department, Bridges is now available for adoption. They also expressed gratitude to Sergeant Flores and Officer Tutak for saving the cat’s life.
