From the moment they became brothers, Spanky (6 years old) and Roman (8 years old) have been inseparable. They sleep, run, eat, lie, and do everything together. Between these two, there is a bond that nothing can separate. They love each other a lot.
According to Jackie Rogers, Roman, and Spanky’s aunt, “Roman is undoubtedly Spanky’s security blanket.” “Spanky won’t do anything without Roman, constantly makes sure he’s around, and if he isn’t, gets up and joins him.”
Recently, Roman’s ear started to swell and became infected, so Rogers took him to the vet and discovered that he had a hematoma on his ear. But he had to wait a few weeks for an operation. So they took him home to take care of him until they could go back to the vet. Spanky might be very worried about his brother, but he always stays by his side and tries to comfort him when he knows that his brother isn’t well.
Rogers decided to set up a camera so that they could observe the dogs when they were not at home. But because of this, they were able to see the sweetest thing ever.
In the video, they saw Spanky dragging his dog bed to Roman so that his brother didn’t have to move and risk hurting himself. After that, they both lay on it, snuggling.
Spanky brought the bed over to Roman around 10 a.m., and when Rogers got home that evening, they were still snuggled up together on the bed. Her heart melted when she saw this moment.
