TikTok user @the_crazyzoo recently shared a video of her son sharing a special moment with their new rescue dog, a Pit Bull named Neil, who had been treated poorly by his previous owners.
The_crazyzoo family adopted Neil the pit bull from the Companion Animal Alliance – a local rescue center. They were allowing people to adopt dogs for just $15.
Neil was poorly treated by his previous owner, he was covered in cigarette burns. When The_crazyzoo family met him, they said that he behaved so well and they instantly “fell in love” with him.
The mom said that her 7-year-old son was desperate for a dog and he even saved up the $15 out of his own pocket money. So, there is no reason for her to deny his wish.
In the clip captured, the boy whispered some sweet words to Neil before going to bed, and our hearts are melting.
“My son wanted to reassure him that he would be loved and kept safe, and it melts my heart,” The_crazyzoo said.
