In the video, baby Connar begins wailing and writhing around.
However, his brother, pet cat Stewie manages to control the situation by gently stroking him on the head until the baby falls asleep.
The short clip which was uploaded by Connar’s father, Aaron Grant, 35, ends with Stewie seemingly looking proud at what he has done to comfort baby Connar.
Even he is surprised to see what he has just achieved.
