Meet Gringo, a one-year-old British Shorthair who has a special marking on his face that makes him look very sophisticated.
Some have compared him to a “Victorian-era detective”.
Gringo has a fur mustache and the internet can’t get enough of him.
The two-year-old kitten lives in France with his owners Sabrine and Romain and his brother Milko.
Gringo had almost 60,000 followers on Instagram, but his account was hacked and his new page already has almost 12,000 fans.
“Gringo is a happy cat, full of life and with a very nice personality. “He loves to play all day and night and do stupid things like climb the curtains, scratch the couch, and jump into plants,” Sabrine told Just Something.
“He likes to stand on his back paw, just like a meerkat. He can stay a couple of minutes in that position, and it’s hilarious”.
This very sophisticated moggie has a quirky personality that matches its look.
“Gringo always sniffs our plates to see if there is anything good to eat, and he likes to steal our sponge from the kitchen just to chew it, so we have to hide it every time,” added Sabrine.
Sabrine and Romain found a photo of Gringo on a popular French cattery site and immediately fell in love with this fabulous cat.
The couple already had a cat named Milko, who also has his own Instagram page. They thought Gringo would make the perfect brother for Milko and had to have him.
Gringo was only three months old when they brought him home and he immediately became friends with Milko.
Now they are completely inseparable.
Such a beautiful cat who sounds like he is in a wonderful home where he is truly loved and celebrated.
