Singer Beyonce has come out to aid communities impacted by the wildfires in Los Angeles


Beyoncé is stepping up to support those affected by the devastating L.A. wildfires. The singer’s BeyGOOD Foundation will donate $2.5 million to assist the victims.

According to, her foundation BeyGOOD has pledged to donate $2.5 million (Dh9 million) to help families rebuild after they’ve suffered losses.

BeyGOOD, which was established in 2013, will provide the funds to families in Altadena and Pasadena, two areas that were devastated by wildfires. In addition to helping those who lost their homes and possessions, BeyGOOD “will also assist churches and community centres in other impacted areas to address the immediate needs of people affected by the fires.”

The foundation posted on Instagram, “Los Angeles we stand with you. BeyGOOD is taking action by announcing the LA Fire Relief Fund with a donation of 2.5 million dollars. The fund is earmarked to aid families in the Altadena/Pasadena area who lost their homes, and to churches and community centers to address the immediate needs of those affected by the wildfires.
