Mónica Vicéns couldn’t resist taking care of three little kittens that were left in her garden.
She quickly became attached to the smallest one, a white and brown tabby named China, and decided to keep her.
After moving to a new home with a large backyard, China transformed into a skilled hunter, often bringing live creatures into the house.
Vicéns tried to prevent China from going outside, but the cat started leaving stacks of socks by her door instead. It turned out that China had been burglarizing their neighbor’s yard and bringing back various items as “gifts.”
Vicéns returned the items every day, and eventually, China switched to bringing non-living objects. Vicéns set up a camera to capture China’s antics and inform her neighbors, who surprisingly didn’t mind and even established a return box for their missing items.
Despite China’s mischievous behavior, Vicéns loves her dearly and finds joy in her playful nature.
