A Thai woman, Thammapa Supamas, unintentionally turned her cat yellow while attempting to treat its fungal infection with turmeric.
Supamas shared photos of her cat on social media, which quickly went viral. The cat had a ringworm infection, and in an attempt to cure it, Supamas used turmeric, covering the entire body instead of just the affected area.
The cat’s color changed to a bright yellow, resembling Pikachu.
Despite the unintended outcome, the cat’s condition improved.
Supamas hopes the color will fade over time and the cat’s fur will return to its original color. While turmeric has health benefits, consulting a vet is advised before using it on pets.
