Fans of Tom and Jerry know that cats and mice have a complicated relationship in the cartoon, but in real life, cats and mice are enemies.
However, there are exceptions, like the story of Perseya the cat and Filya the rat.
Irina adopted Perseya when she was a kitten, despite her instinct to hate rats. Perseya lived with other rats, and Kuzya, a rat, welcomed her.
They became inseparable, but Kuzya passed away. Irina then got Filya, and Perseya instantly cared for him. They played together, and one day, Filya escaped his cage and spent time with the cats.
Filya is now six months old, and he and Perseya are inseparable. Filya shows affection to Perseya and even though other rats stay in their cage, Bursa ignores Filya.
Their bond is evident in their cuddling and moments together.
