A year ago, Ms. Wong from China bought a pup from a pet store, thinking it was a Japanese Spitz. She was excited to make the pup a part of her family and spent a lot of time with her new puppy.
However, over time she realized that the pup didn’t have typical dog traits.
At first, she noticed that the dog refused to eat dog food. Its fur grew thicker and longer, its face grew pointier, and its tail grew longer than a normal dog’s.
Ms. Wong had never heard her pup bark, but she didn’t think too much about it and continued to love her beloved pet.
When she took her pup to the park, a person at the park discovered that it was not a dog but actually a domesticated fox.
This was heartbreaking news for Ms. Wong, who had loved and cared for her pet for nearly a year. Although she loved her fox very much, she knew it wouldn’t be happy living as a pet.
Ms. Wong decided to take her fox to the Taiyuan Zoo, where it was confirmed that the animal was, in fact, a domesticated fox.
Finally, she made the difficult decision to hand her fox over to the zoo so that it could have a better life.
