Japan is famous for its beauty and strong economy.
Now, it’s also well-known for the first cat temple in Kyoto called ‘Nyan Nyan Ji’ or ‘Meow Meow Temple’.
The temple, opened in 2016, is run by seven cats.
Koyuki, the head monk, enjoys interacting with visitors.
The idea for the temple came from Toru Kaya, who also established a cat-themed souvenir shop and café.
