Here’s a clever little riddle that seems simple at first — but it hides a small twist that many people miss.
Read it carefully:
A blind man lost his phone, his cap, and his bag.
What did he lose first?

Most people immediately start thinking logically about the objects. Maybe the phone fell out of his pocket first. Maybe the cap blew away in the wind. Maybe he forgot his bag somewhere.
But slow down.
The trick isn’t about the items at all. It’s about the wording.
Look at the very first part of the sentence:
“A blind man…”
Before he lost his phone, before he lost his cap, before he lost his bag — he had already lost something much more important.
…
..
.
👉 The answer: He lost his sight first.
That’s why he is described as blind.
It’s a classic wordplay riddle. The key is to notice what’s hidden in plain sight and question your first assumption.
Did you figure it out right away, or did it take a second read?
