When Marie Robinson, a 45-year-old loving mother from Waterlooville, Hampshire, lost her beloved four-year-old son, Jack, the mother was inconsolable.
Three years after losing Jack to a brain tumor, Marie visited Jack’s grave and asked in tears if her boy could give her a sign.
As if her son heard her wish, a small robin, which is associated with death and a representation of the afterlife, landed on her foot and quickly flew towards her hand as well.
It was then that she was soothed by the presence of the tiny robin.
The bird was perched on the grave before flying over to her hand after she called it – and then she couldn’t help but break down in tears of gratitude.
